Goodbye Unicorn Isle

I started writing this post a few months back, it was originally to be titled “Happy Birthday Unicorn Isle” to celebrate the 1 year birthday of our Second Life Home. For some reason I never finished this writing.

Unfortunately for the past several months i have been struggling with making this decision, and it really saddens me to say, but Unicorn Isle is no more. On the early AM of July 31, 2008, Unicorn Isle was renamed and transferred to its new owners.

Myself and Darlin Oh have made Unicorn Isle our home for the past year and four months. We both spent most of our time there, building the sim and spending time together. It was personal, never business. It was a very special place to the both of us (as well as to a few close friends). We will miss it (and already do).

Hopefully some day we will be fortunate enough to build another “Unicorn Isle” together.
